Is this just to piss off Owen?
LOL. You're referring, of course, to his disapproval of AFR. When he posted about AFR some time ago, I was rather forthright about my liking AFR.
But you are partly correct. I felt that I should stake out a clear position of approval of certain elements of the "I'm so happy I made it to Orthodoxy" paradigm. Clearly, though, Owen has a point about that paradigm that's not simply dismissible as a grumpy grunting.
I like AFR's music, and I listen to too little of it, but I haven't listened to many podcasts. I probably should listen to more of them, but I get a small nagging feeling that the podcast circuit is creating something of an Ortho-Hollywood phenomenon on which Owen and I would probably see eye-to-eye.
